Team Manager Binders
Team managers serve as the operational backbone of East Haven Youth Hockey. To streamline communication, improve efficiency, and ensure critical information is always within reach, we recommend maintaining a single, organized team binder containing all essential documents and contacts. This binder should be readily available and easy to reference—particularly during away games, tournaments, showcases, and travel outside of East Haven—so key details can be accessed quickly whenever needed.
Each Team Manager is required to put together a binder with the following information:
USA Hockey Verified Roster
A USA Hockey–verified roster will be issued by the East Haven Youth Hockey Association and provided directly to team managers for official use and recordkeeping.
Signed USA Hockey Waiver Forms
All players, coaches, managers, and volunteers must complete and sign the required USA Hockey forms. Signed copies should be maintained in your team binder at all times for quick reference and compliance.
Blank Scoresheets and Roster Stickers
Blank scoresheets are required for all home games. Roster stickers are strongly recommended and will be used for both home and away games, as they provide a clean, consistent roster entry and eliminate the need to handwrite lineups each game.
Team Contact Information
Maintain an up-to-date list of player emergency contacts (and any key medical notes, if applicable) to ensure you can respond quickly and appropriately—whether addressing a minor situation or a serious emergency.
