LTP/MITE DEVELOPMENT (STEP 2)
Player development at this stage centers on continued improvement in core skating fundamentals, including edge control, skating mechanics, and overall stride efficiency. It is also the period when the foundational skills of becoming a complete hockey player are introduced and reinforced making it a pivotal phase in a young athlete’s long-term growth and progression on the ice.

This program is designed for players who are at least 5 years old and who have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Play.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
The program operates throughout the fall and winter seasons, with the regular season running from September through February.
Where
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are generally held at the East Haven Rink.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Sessions are scheduled on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
